Re-Engeneering Preclinical Testing and and the Impact on First in Human Studies

  It is high time to rethink and improve preclinical testing to pave the way to optimise First in Human Studies. New concepts which focus on reducing, refining, replacing animal involvement in toxicology and pharmacology research will be introduced. Furthermore, this will change the way the first dose for humans is to be determined.

Fundamentals in Health Economics

This course provides the participants with an understanding of the key principles and methodological concepts of health economics. The role of health-economic thinking in the drug development process is addressed.
